A little help.

Lookshark is in development for iPhone and iPad. These instructions cover the current app.

The camera won’t open

Open Settings, choose Apps → Lookshark, and enable Camera. If another app is using the camera, return to Lookshark and tap Try again. You can also use Choose a photo on the Face tab.

The photo isn’t taking

Keep one face inside the guide, hold the camera at eye level and look straight ahead. Follow the instruction under the guide, then stay steady while the ring fills. Move to even light if the face outline is hard to detect.

A photo won’t analyse

Choose a clear front-facing photo with one face, open eyes and a level head. A profile or group photo won’t provide all three front-view measurements.

Save or delete a scan

Open your analysis and tap Save scan. Your scans are available from the history button on the Face tab. To remove one, swipe its row in Saved scans and confirm Delete scan.

Compare two scans

Save at least two scans, then open Saved scans → Compare scans. Slide across the photo or use the slider below it. The date selectors let you choose a different pair.

Keep a styling brief

Open a guide in Explore and tap Add a step. In Plan, open that step to add notes, mark it complete or share your brief. Tap Edit in Plan to remove steps.

Where are my photos?

Saved scans stay on the device where you captured them and are excluded from device backups. Export anything you want to keep before deleting the app or moving to another device.
