Facial analysis, made visible.
Lookshark finds landmarks around your facial features, measures the distances between them, and draws those lines on your photo. Analysis runs on your iPhone or iPad.

One clear method.
Eye spacing
The distance between the inner eye corners, divided by the average width of the two eyes. Each eye’s width runs from its inner corner to its outer corner.
Inner eye gap ÷ average eye width
Nose width
The width between the leftmost and rightmost points of the nose outline, divided by the inner eye gap.
Nose width ÷ inner eye gap
Mouth width
The width between the corners of the outer lip outline, divided by the nose width.
Mouth width ÷ nose width
What does a ratio mean?
A ratio compares two distances. An eye-spacing ratio of 1.16 means the gap is about 16% wider than the average eye in that photo. It describes a relationship; there is no single target that everyone needs to reach.
Lookshark measures in image coordinates, accounting for the photo’s width and height. It reports relative proportions rather than millimetres, because an ordinary photo has no physical scale.
A photo you can compare.
Place the camera at eye level, use even light and keep a relaxed expression. The capture guide checks framing, head position and steadiness before taking the photo. Within that hold, Lookshark selects the frame with the best available face-capture quality.
For later comparisons, use the same camera and distance. Moving close to a wide-angle camera changes perspective. A different angle or expression can change a measured ratio even when your face has not changed.
From a face map to a plan.
Select a feature to explore it in the visual atlas. Choose an action, keep your references and questions in its notes, then share the brief. Your chosen focus changes which guides appear first.
Saved comparisons line up the eyes using rotation, scale and position. They preserve the shape of each face; the comparison does not reshape either photo.
On your device.
Lookshark uses Apple Vision to locate facial landmarks. Geometry calculations, the face map and saved comparisons run locally. Photos leave the app only when you choose to share them.
